First Reconciliation 2023

 

The Sacrament of Reconciliation brings about a change of heart through God's mercy and forgiveness. Reconciliation (also known as Confession or Penance) is a sacrament instituted by Jesus Christ in His love and mercy to offer sinners forgiveness for offenses committed against God. First Reconciliation  is open to children who are soon to prepare to receive their FIirst Holy Communion. The importance of becoming sensitive to right and wrong and making responsible choices begins at an early age.

 

In Mary Immaculate Parish in Quakers Hill children in year 3 or older are invited to prepare for and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation to be ready to receive their First Communion when they are in year 4 or older. If a child is baptised and they wish to receive this sacrament and the parents are willing to assist them in this journey of Faith, they can apply for this sacrament during the month of August 2023.

 

Applications will need to be sent in on or before 31 August 2023.  Applications are only accepted after all sections of the application are complete.  Please do not send an incomplete application as it later becomes difficult to process the information.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Sister Valerie by phone or email.
