IMPORTANT INFORMATION

First Reconciliation 2022

 

Reconciliation is one of the seven Sacraments.  This Sacrament is called a Sacrament of Healing as we can have our sins and wrongdoing forgiven so that we can be reconciled with God.  Children need to be old enough to understand this Sacrament to be able to be prepared and to understand that God forgives us as long as we are sorry.

 

Applications to enrol for the Sacrament of Reconciliation in 2022 are now online.  We can only accept applications up to 30th of September or you will need to wait until 2023 for your child to receive this Sacrament.  Preparation lessons will take place in October and November and the children will make this Sacrament in November 2022.  Those children who make their First Reconciliation in 2022 will be eligible to join the first Holy Communion Program in 2023.

 

Children need to be Baptised and be in Year 3 or higher to be able to receive this Sacrament in Mary Immaculate Parish.  Applications will not be accepted until all information is complete and the Baptism Certificate attached for those who were not Baptised in Mary Immaculate Parish in Quakers Hill.

 

Kindly fill in the application carefully and you will hear from us soon after all applications are in.  All applications need to be in by 30 September the latest.
